Speeding tickets down 100,000

General, by Donncha.

Interesting spin on this story from RTE..
Niall Doyle, Corporate Affairs Manager, Irish Insurance Federation, says that the drop is due to fewer check points on Ireland’s roads
While the Garda Superintendent, John Farrelly, says that the figures are down because driver behaviour has improved.
Hehe. who to believe?

  1. Driving back through town last night at eleven, I was confronted by three little piggies on their mountain bikes, with Garda high vis overcoats. I didn’t stop laughing for at least 10 mins … how long is it going to take some scumbag to pull up next to Sergant Bacon Bits in his Shamcam, grab hold of Plod and accelerate up the road?
