I used to get overwhelmed when I used Bloglines as my newsreader. I switched to Google Reader because Bloglines didn’t handle well for many feeds. It helped me realize I didn’t need to see every post on every feed. Google Reader sorts the unread posts by what it determines as your favorite blogs. It seems to work pretty well.

Of those 190, a good many are photoblogs, and many of them only display thumbnails so flicking through them is quick because I detest thumbnails, and unless they're really eye-catching I'll skip over them. If I do prune my list, those will be the first to go. It's raining out of the heavens now, we were *very* lucky with the weather at the weekend!

Dingle, eh? Lucky guy. I haven’t been there for a few years now. Must get some time to head over. As the waiter in Tralee told us before we left for Dingle – “That’s Marlboro Country”

[...] In other news, I’m now a paid up member of Mallow Photography Club! Despite driving from Kerry on Monday, and feeling the worse for wear, I went to the meeting that night. It was a portraiture night using studio lighting. 3 local girls, only one of whom had any photoshoot experience were our models and did a great job, even with the gaggle of photographers busy snapping away! I got a couple of good shots of the girls, which may end up on my photoblog next week if they’re happy with them. No promises because it’s the first time I’ve done this sort of shoot and it’s more than a little intimidating! [...]
