No new maps for Bad Company 2

Well, no new maps until the Vietnam expansion hits later in the year according to this interview.

DICE is releasing map packs with new game modes on already existing maps. Vietnam will bring new maps to Bad Company 2.

Enjoy Rush on Atacama Desert. They’ve brought rush to all the maps now haven’t they?

A comment on that thread is insightful:

dice said they wouldn’t be charging for new maps so instead they add a few new weapons and player skins and suddenly it’s not just a map pack anymore, but an expansion
