Retro Gamer has a big feature on the Ghosts ‘n’ Goblins series of games. The C64 version of Ghosts ‘n’ Goblins was the first game I tried hacking into with my Action Replay to see how it worked. I think I only threw out the notes I made from that time a few weeks ago.
Ah nostalgia.
I used to play that in the arcade…..I was rubbish at that too. Hmmm you’d think I’d have learnt my lesson by now! I never had an Action Replay – although I always wanted one – bit late now. Had to rely on the pokes from Amstrad Action magazine instead – had a CPC464 (with colour screen because I sold my soul to the devil).
All my friends had Amstrads, though most had the green screen monitor. The one game that comes to mind on that machine was “Mission Genocide”.
I was always different though, first with a Speccy and then a C64.
