This article discusses the copright issues surrounding the use of music on a slideshow, specifically a wedding slideshow.
As you might expect, copright still applies, and the artist has the right to be compensated for their work, but it’s a little complicated..

Speaking of copyright law, I read another article today about how the penalty for downloading a TV show series is 33 times more strict than stealing the DVD from a store. Copyright law is ridiculous.

Copyright law has been serving all people since copyright came out in the countries.

It depends on what country you’re in, and the age of the music as well. Most of the stuff we use is classical and miles out of copyright so it’s not a problem (mostly).
