I just found a receipt from 1997. I bought 8MB of EDO RAM. How much did it cost? IR£100! The price of RAM was jumping all over the place that year AFAIR.
The GIMP is annoying me right now. I’m editing a 1600×1200 image, 3 layers, modifications on each layer, and it’s taking ages to perform simple operations such as “blur” or “magic wand”.
