$ make install

compile openssl (http://www.openssl.org/)

$ cd ../mod_ssl-2.8.7-1.3.23
$ ./configure –with-apache=../apache_1.3.23 –with-ssl=../openssl-0.9.6c –prefix=/usr/local/apache.443 –activate-module=src/modules/php3/libphp3.a

$ cd ../apache_1.3.23
$ make
# make install
